Student Teaching and My Weekend

Hi Everyone! Everything is going great here. I am having fun and have been very busy! Student teaching has been great! I have an amazing cooperating teacher and supervisor. Everyone at the school is great. I am in the 2/3 room and we only have 9 students. Although we only have 9 kids we still have a lot to do and plan for. We have many things to work around, including a little boy who speaks no English. I have been working with him a lot. He is already picking up some things and will continue to very quickly. I have taken over science, in which we are talking about the solar system. It's fun! We are planning a trip to the planetarium.
On the weekends I am just as busy as during the week. Curtis Assenmacher and Ashley Steward came down from New Castle to visit me and Sydney this weekend. It was a good time. We went around the city and to Paddy's Market to get some souvenirs. We went to Darling Harbor to the boat show, but decided to just look for free and go into Circular Quay. I really wanted to find The Real World house @ Darling Harbor but we didn't see it. I still plan to though. Then we took a Ferry from Sydney to Manly and saw the beach. It is cold here (50's) so we didn't do any swimming. Then we ate at a place on the water. Friday and Saturday night we went out in Sydney and Bondi. I found a bar with Budweiser, so I was excited, except that it was $6.50 a beer! Everything is really expensive here!
